Remarks. For a description of this species and its synonymy, refer to Peña Cantero & Vervoort (2003). Distribution in Chile. This species occurs from Guaitecas Islands in the North (Jäderholm 1904), to the Strait of Magellan in the South (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2003). World records.
