NEW RECORDS: BM11, BM12, BM13, BM18, BM19, BM20, BM21, BM22, BM27, BM28, BM33, BM34, BM38, BM39, BM40, BM45, BM46, BM47, BM48, BM49, BM50, BM51, BM52, BM53, BM54, BM65, BM66, BM74, BM92, BM99. REMARKS: The Mediterranean records of the species need to be checked due to the confusion with Malmgreniella lunulata (Delle Chiaje, 1830) (Barnich & Fiege 2001). Malmgreniella castanea (McIntosh, 1876) DISTRIBUTION: NA, CA. LITERATURE RECORDS: Amoureux 1979; Zavodnik 1979; Zavodnik et al. 1985; Požar-Domac 1994; Cantone & Di Pietro 2002; Castelli et al. 2008.
