REMARKS: The Mediterranean records of the species need to be checked due to the confusion with Malmgreniella lunulata (Delle Chiaje, 1830) (Barnich & Fiege 2001). Malmgreniella castanea (McIntosh, 1876) DISTRIBUTION: NA, CA. LITERATURE RECORDS: Amoureux 1979; Zavodnik 1979; Zavodnik et al. 1985; Požar-Domac 1994; Cantone & Di Pietro 2002; Castelli et al. 2008.
