Oswaldella incognita Peña Cantero, Svoboda & Vervoort, 1997 (Figs 8, 16 H, 17H, 19H) Material examined. New Zealand Antarctic Expedition TAN0402: Stn 241, Tangaroa, 4 March 2004, 66°54'77''– 66°55'01''S, 163°13'65''– 163°13'69''E (off Buckle Island, Balleny Islands), 70– 78 m. Description. Monosiphonic, unbranched stems, up to 130 mm high, divided into internodes. Angle between cauline apophyses and stem ca. 45°. Cauline apophyses with two axillary nematophores, each emerging through simple perisarc hole (Fig. 8 B–C). Hydrocladia bifurcated (Fig. 8 A). First hydrocladial internode with two similar prongs (Fig. 8 A). Mesial inferior nematophore emerging from strongly marked swelling at proximal third of internode (Fig. 8 D–E); with large, claw-shaped nematoteca (Fig. 8 D–F). Hydrotheca elongate, situated on middle or distal half of internode (Fig. 8 D–E). Abcauline wall straight or slightly convex (Fig. 8 D).
