Hydrorhiza stolonal, irregularly giving rise to erect, long pedicels with a distal hydrotheca. Perisarc smooth or occasionally with annulations after a constriction. Hydrotheca bell-shaped, relatively large. Rim of hydrothecal aperture with 16 blunt cusps separated by deep embayments. Gonotheca elongate, cylindrical, distally truncated, slightly swollen at basal half, and basally tapering to pedicel. Gonothecal wall smooth. Pedicel ringed. Measurements (in μm). Pedicel: length 1300–11500. Hydrotheca: height 2248.5±354 (n=13), range 1775– 2750; diameter at aperture 1451±286 (n=10), range 1000–1925; height of basal chamber 125±42 (n=11), range 125–250. Basal spherule: diameter 130±15 (n=12), range 100–150.
