** Hippolyte coerulescens (Fabricius, 1775) Distributed in the warmer parts of the Atlantic, associated with hyponeuston (d'Udekem d'Acoz 1996). The type locality of Hippolyte martiali A. Milne-Edwards, 1891, a species long placed in the synonymy of H. coerulescens, is the Beagle Channel, off Lupataya in southern Patagonia (A. Milne-Edwards 1891), with specimens stated to have been collected at 198 m.
