Summary: | Drapetis assimilis (Fallén) (Figs 2A, 3A) Material examined. SWEDEN. Skåne: Åbrolla, Osby (56°26′N 14°08′E), 142 m, 26–29.viii.2016 (2 ♂); 11– 14.ix.2015 (1 ♀) (NHMD). Taxonomic notes. Male mid femur simple, in basal two-thirds with a dense row of posteroventral setulae; mid tibia in distal half with comb-rows of short, coarse anteroventral and posteroventral setulae; hind femur (Fig. 3A) with extensive row of long, pale posteroventral setulae. Distribution. A widespread Holarctic species. Scandinavian distribution according to Chvála (1975) is restricted to the Baltic coast of Finland, but it was added to the list of Swedish Brachycera by Struwe (2007). Records from provinces in both Central and South Sweden are mapped in http://artfakta.artdatabanken.se/. The collecting dates suggest that D. assimilis is active in late summer. : Published as part of Michelsen, Verner & Grootaert, Patrick, 2019, Co-existing species of Drapetis Meigen in Skåne (S Sweden) with description of a new species and a key to males of NW European species (Diptera: Hybotidae), pp. 431-441 in Zootaxa 4624 (3) on page 434, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4624.3.11, http://zenodo.org/record/3264492 : {"references": ["Chvala, M.
