PA: Afghanistan, China, Egypt, Europe (Fennoscandia south to Iberia and the Mediterranean; from Ireland through most of Europe into Turkey and European parts of Russia; through Siberia to the Pacific coast), Israel, Japan, Jordan, Mongolia, Morocco, Syria. Egyptian localities : Unknown. Activity period in Egypt : Unknown. Remarks : This species was listed as recorded from Egypt by Steyskal & El-Bialy (1967) and Peck (1988), but no specimens or published records have been found.
