Benthic; depth: 18–1,124 m (60–3,687 ft) (min.: Eschmeyer and Herald 1983; max.: Hoff and Britt 2005). Recently classified by some authors in Sarritor (e.g., Saveliev et al. 2019); originally in Odontopyxis (see Sheiko and Mecklenburg 2004).
