Bathypelagic (Hulley and Paxton in Carpenter and De Angelis 2016); depth: 200–2,868 m (656–9,407 ft) (min.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California; max.: Stein 1985).
