Summary: | Taimen (Hucho taimen) is an important economic species of fish in the salmon family. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant that helps protect cells from the damage of reactive oxygen species, however the effect of vitamin E on the female reproductive system of taimen has not been systematically investigated. Here, we conducted comprehensive transcriptome analyses of taimen's pituitary and ovary tissues with or without vitamin E feeding. This study of vitamin E on the reproductive development of taimen is of great significance to guide the scientific feeding of taimen, but also for the feeding of other teleosts. |
