Long filamentous worms, somewhat flattened dorso-ventrally. Posterior end of body terminating in a blunt fan-like shape, typically wider than any other part of the body. Oral sucker and ventral sucker present and well developed. Oral sucker terminal, with small spines on ventral surface of dorsal lip and lateral to mouth. Ventral sucker larger than oral sucker, retractable and covered with small spines. Esophagus bifurcates into caecum midway between oral sucker and ventral sucker.
