Summary: | Calvia quatuordecimguttata (Linné) PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND: Kings County: Upton, 5 August, 1955, L.S. Thompson, 2 specimens, ACPE; Queens County: West Royalty, 19 May 1983, L.S. Thompson, ACPE; Cornwall, summer 1981, M.E.M. Smith, ACPE; Cornwall, summer 1993, M.E.M. Smith, ACPE; Sherwood, 3 August 1993, R.M. Cheverie, ACPE. Newly recorded on Prince Edward Island. Found across the northern half of the United States from northern California to New Jersey (Gordon 1985); also in Alaska and in Canada from the Yukon and Northwest Territories east to Newfoundland and Labrador (McNamara 1991). It is highly polymorphic with a large number of varied color forms, many of which have been described as separate species in the past.
