Summary:Bombus bohemicus Seidl, 1837 Eurosiberian species distributed from Ireland in the west to the Pacific coasts in the east. In the Iberian Peninsula it is found in the northern half between 900 and 2000 m of altitude (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez 2004). The species is a common cuckoo-bumblebee and not considered to be threatened (Rasmont et al. 2015). At present it has been collected in the Pyrenees in forest pastures and mountain meadows, between 1310 and 2300 m (Fig. 7) on Achilegia vulgaris L., Buglossoides arvensis (L.) I.M.Johns., Centaurea scabiosa L., Cirsium acaule (L.) Scop., Eryngium bourgatii Gouan., Lathyrus pratensis L., Lotus corniculatus L., Onobrichis vicifolia Scop., Silene acaulis (L.) Jacq., Trifolium pratense L., and Viola odorata L. There is also another recent record from Sierra del Caurel in Galicia (Lugo: Liñares, 1300 m, 3-IX-10, 1 male, R. Outerelo leg., UCME).
