Sea of Okhotsk and northern Sea of Japan to Gulf of Anadyr, western Bering Sea (Lindberg and Fedorov 1993), to eastern Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands, and south-western Gulf of Alaska (Zimmermann and Goddard 1996), to off Davenport, central California (about 37°01’N, 122°12’W) (Lea 2013).
