Diplospinus multistriatus Maul, 1948. Lined Cutlassfish or Striped Escolar . To about 33 cm (13 in) SL (Nakamura and Parin 1993). Circumglobal; western Pacific Ocean north to southern Japan (Nakabo in Nakabo 2002), and east of Kuril Islands (Savinykh et al. 2004); central California (35°N) (Ambrose in Moser 1996) to Chile (Pequeño 1989).
