Yakutat, eastern Gulf of Alaska (Personal communication:University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington; confirmed by Katherine Maslenikov) to south of Punta Rompiente, southern Baja California (Miller and Lea 1972), and Isla Guadalupe (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California), central Baja California.
