Bahía de Sebastian Vizcaino, central Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) into northern Gulf of California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 20 m (3–65 ft) (min.: Ruiz-Campos et al. 2010b; max.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
