Amphistichus argenteus Agassiz, 1854. Barred Surfperch . To 43.2 cm (17 in) TL (Miller and Lea 1972). Bodega Bay, northern California (Miller and Lea 1972) to Bahía Santa Rosalia (28°25’N, 114°15’W), north-central Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
