Just south of Bahía San Quintin [“Santa Maria Bay” (30°23.8’N, 115°56’W)], northern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Peru, including Gulf of California (Robertson and Allen 2008).
