Metephelota excavata (Dons, 1938) Record as epibiont on cnidarians: The species was originally described on hydroids from the Folden fjord is north of Bodø, Norway (Dons 1938). Record as epibiont on other hosts: The species was also found on bryozoans from the same locality (Dons 1938).
