Although relatively restricted in known genera ( Araphura Bird & Holdich, 1984; Araphuroides Sieg, 1986; Arthrura Kudinova-Pasternak; and Tanaella Norman & Stebbing) it is well represented by many species, particularly of Araphura and Tanaella , in the deep sea. Several species from bathyal New Zealand waters remain to be described. : Published as part of BIRD, GRAHAM J., 2011, Paratanaoidean tanaidaceans (Crustacea: Peracarida) from littoral and shallow sublittoral habitats in New Zealand, with descriptions of three new genera and seven new species, pp. 1-62 in Zootaxa 2891 (1) on page 41, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.2891.1.1 : {"references": ["Larsen, K. & Wilson, G.
