Andersson (1976, pers. comm.) wrote: ‘Type locality: Sweden, Torne Lapmark, Kiruna, J; type series 2 JJ, labelled: “Kiruna 2.8.18”. That means collected by O. Ringdahl in 1918. There are also 2 ♀♀ with the same data. No lectotype present’. Distribution.
