Geographical distribution . México (Oaxaca). Natural history . Collected from berlese extraction of cloud forest leaf litter at an elevation of 7000 feet. Derivation of specific name . From the Latin draco for dragon; through her support of the Nature Discovery Fund at the Canadian Museum of Nature, this species is named after Brenda Dragon of Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, Canada, as a gift from Jane Dragon. Material examined . 1♀ (CMNC). Holotype ♀ (CMNC): MÉXICO: Oaxaca. 32 mi. S. Valle Nacional, 7000’, 22.V.1971, S. Peck, Ber 205, leaf litter / HOLOTYPE ♀ Theognete draco sp. nov. R.S. Anderson. Genitalia extracted. Chorological relationships .
