Five specimens: Alaska (USA), LACM-AHF N2127 (approx. 57º10'N, 169º40'W, Bering Sea, 20 km east of Walrus Island, Pribilof Islands, Alaska King Crab Investigation, sta. D11.41, 57–60 m); LACM-AHF N2789 (approx. 55º55'N, 161º27'W, Canoe Bay, from crab trap, Sept. 23, 1940, coll. N.L. Schmitt); LACM-AHF N10728–10729, 3 spec. (sta. 72A D2, no more data). Diagnosis. Tube smooth, thick-walled, lacks longitudinal ridges, peristomes or alveoli. Opercular peduncle smooth, white. Base of operculum with rounded dorsal process. Operculum one irregular funnel, with apex displaced to ventral side; funnel with 21–47 radii with rounded tips (Figs 4A–B). Collar with bayonet chaetae, with 2–3 blunt-short teeth and minute accessory teeth, distal blade smooth. Habitat. Depth: 57–60 m; ten Hove and Jansen-Jacobs (1984) recorded it down to 274 m. Cold waters. Distribution. North-eastern Pacific. Alaska to Oregon, USA (ten Hove & Jansen-Jacobs 1984). Remarks. Crucigera irregularis and C. zygophora are sympatric species (ten Hove & Jansen-Jacobs 1984); even, the tube of one specimen of C. irregularis (LACM-AHF N2789) is attached over the tube of C. zygophora . : Published as part of Bastida-Zavala, J.
