Three of these lineages have been detected in Canada: L0 (ON), L1 (ON), and L2 (ON, BC, NB, and NS). Porco et al. (2012a, p. 4) also supposed that the congruence between mitochondrial and nuclear signals “confirms the genetic individualization of these lineages, and suggests their specific status”.
