Biselachista scirpi : Traugott-Olsen & Nielsen (1977: 264). Subgenus: Elachista tetragonella species group. Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy (continent, Sicily), Norway, Portugal, Russia (European part), Sweden, U.K. (England, Wales). Larval host plant(s): Scirpus maritimus L., (Cyperaceae), Juncus gerardii Loiseleur-Deslongchamps, J. compressus Jacq. (Juncaceae) (Stainton 1887b; Fletcher 1887; Meyrick 1928).
