Hyperiietta luzoni — Brusca & Hendrickx, 2005: 150 (list). Material examined . 1M in one locality (Fig. 1). TALUD III. St. 19B (25°18’24”N, 109°18’36”W), August 20, 1991, 1M, I-K, from surface to 600 m (TD, 1890 m) (ICML-EMU-12772). Distribution . Atlantic and Indian Oceans, Mediterranean Sea (Vinogradov et al . 1996, García Madrigal 2007). In the eastern Pacific from California, USA, to Baja California and the Gulf of California, Mexico, and south to 38°6’S, 88°02’W (García Madrigal 2007). Remarks . Siegel-Causey (1982) reported H. luzoni as a very rare species in the Gulf of California. During his study it was recorded from two sites only, in the epipelagic layers in the southern Gulf and in deep water (1087 m) in the northern Gulf. García Madrigal (2007) mentioned it as an epipelagic, coastal species. : Published as part of Gasca, Rebeca & Hendrickx, Michel E., 2021, Pelagic amphipods (Crustacea: Amphipoda: Hyperiidea) in western Mexico. 3 Family Lestrigonidae, pp. 169-187 in Zootaxa 4974 (1) on pages 170-171, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4974.1.8, http://zenodo.org/record/4772335 : {"references": ["Stebbing, T.
