Described: ♀, ♂, gall, recorded host: Salix glauca. Holotype, ♀, SMF [examined]. Type locality: Norway, Hordaland, Vikafjell near Viksøyri. Preoccupied in Euura by E. boreoalpina (Lindqvist, 1961).
