Pseudorca crassidens: Kuroda, 1938 p.18; Kim et al., 2000 p.86; Kim, 2004 p.238. Range: Observation of the false killer whale occur during early summer to late autumn in the East Sea, especially near the coast of Gyeongsangbuk Province (Kim 2004; Fig. 95). Remarks: The false killer whale, long considered a monotypic species, is now recognized by several stocks (Carretta et al. 2010).
