Distribution. Australia, Burma, Cambodia, Ceylon, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldive Islands, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. Remarks. 1. Trombicula vanderghinstei Gunther, 1940 was synonymized with T. deliensis by Womersley & Heaslip (1943), followed by Fuller (1952), but was restored later (Vercammen-Grandjean & Langston 1976). 2. Leptotrombidium vanderghinstei australe Vercammen-Grandjean and Langston, 1976 was synonymized with L. deliense by Domrow & Lester (1985), but I restored it as a full species (Stekolnikov 2013). 3. Trombicula walchi is an incompletely described species of dubious identity. The type deposition is unclear from the original description (probably, IMR or SAM). This species was synonymized with L. deliense by Philip & Kohls (1945). : Published as part of Stekolnikov, Alexandr A., 2021, A checklist of chigger mites (Acariformes: Trombiculidae) of Southeast Asia, pp. 1-163 in Zootaxa 4913 (1) on pages 114-115, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4913.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/4448915 : {"references": ["Walch, E.
