Blue-Action participated in symposium organisation in 2020, including representation on panels. Vilena Valeeva presented on the Blue-Action case study on information services in the Yamal region of Russia, as part of the panel Resilience through Empowerment. Hjálmar Hátun presented on Climate variability and its Effects on Marine Resources in the Sub-Arctic as part of the Pollution, Climate Change and Biodiversity: Challenges and Solutions panel.
