Stn 52, two stems up to 23 mm high on Oswaldella stepanjantsae Peña Cantero, Svoboda & Vervoort, 1997 (NIWA 117505); Stn 112, one stem fragment 35 mm long, with two hydrothecae, basibiont of Abietinella operculata (Jäderholm, 1903) (MNCN 2.03/542). Ecology and distribution. Shelf species (Peña Cantero et al. 2004), found at depths from 10 (Naumov & Stepanjants 1972) to 700 m (Naumov & Stepanjants 1962); present material between 152 and 351 m, epibiotic on Oswaldella stepanjantsae and basibiont for colonies of Abietinella operculata.
