CITATIONS FROM ALGERIA OUTSIDE COLLO. — Handschin (1928: 5, as Schöttella parvula ); Thibaud & Massoud (1980: 516); Ait-Mouloud et al. (2007: 151); Hamra-Kroua & Cancela da Fonseca (2009: 36); Brahim-Bounab et al. (2017: 968). DISTRIBUTION. — Cosmopolitan (Fjellberg 1998), but its presence as native in the tropics and Southern Hemisphere is uncertain (Mari-Mutt & Bellinger 1990; Greenslade 1994; Thibaud 2013).
