Summary: | This XML dictionary is based on lexical work with Komi-Zyrian since 1994. Its origins are in the need for a Komi-Zyrian to X vocabulary for students at the Universities of Helsinki and Turku studying the language with ZERO or little knowledge of the Russian language. The vocabulary is directly related to a finite-state description of the language which has originally gone on-line in 2004 in the Giellatekno infrastructure at the Norwegian Arctic University in Tromsø, Norway. In the spirit of open-source and finite-state description the reusability of this resource has been enhanced and expanded through collaboration with both the workers at Giellatekno and the workers at FU-Lab in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russian Federation. With links to usage and collaborating infrastructures. |
