Carcharhinus brevipinna (Müller & Henle, 1839) – Spinner shark; Tubarão-tecelão ① , ② Arruda (1997) considered the occurrence of this species off the Azores as doubtful. Quéro et al. (2003) indicated the presence of the species off Portugal, without referring to the geographical area of occurrence.
