Summary: | Haliclona ( Flagellia ) spp. Based on literature data only, it is not possible to estimate which of the many records of Gellius / Desmacella / Sigmadocia / Adocia / Hemigellius / Haliclona flagellifer ( a ), vagabundus ( a ), and edaphus ( a ) (see above in the historic overview and in the Remarks sections of the species) are assignable to already named species. A non-exhaustive list of references to potential additional separate species is presented here, following the same geographic order as presented in this study. (1) Andaman Sea, deep water (cf.
