Platytyphlops mawsoni (Hale, 1937) n. comb. Hemilamprops mawsoni Hale, 1937: 44–46, figs 4a–b, 5a–l. Off Enderby Land, Antarctica, 66°12’S, 49°37’E. Diagnosis. Carapace with 2 pairs of broad lateral ridges, marginal carina entire, ridge present on pseudorostrum; eyelobe with lenses or tumidities. Antennule article 1 not expanded; accessory flagellum 0.7 main flagellum. Telson shorter than uropod peduncles, with 3 terminal setae, terminal setae equal. Uropod endopod article 1 1.7 length of articles 2 and 3 together. Adult male carapace with 3 pairs of lateral ridges. Antennal peduncle articles 4 and 5 with setae around entire circumference of articles. Uropod endopod article 1 2.8 length of articles 2 and 3 together. Depth. 240–630 m. Distribution.
