Knull, (1, CNC). NEWFOUNDLAND: 3 km east of Gambo, 1.VI.1982, D. Langor and A. Raske, under bark of red pine, (3, MUN). NOVA SCOTIA: One hundred and eighteen specimens from Annapolis, Antigonish, Colchester, Cumberland, Guysborough, Halifax, Hants, Inverness, Lunenburg, Pictou, and Queens counties. The earliest record is from 1993 ( Queens Co.: Medway River, 13.VII.1993, J. and T. Cook, car net, (1, JCC)). Anisotoma inops is newly recorded from Newfoundland and Nova Scotia (Fig. 8). It was listed as occurring in New Brunswick by Peck (1991). Adults have been found between May and September (Wheeler 1979). In Nova Scotia, it was found almost exclusively in coniferous forests in red spruce, black spruce, hemlock, white pine, and balsam fir stands. Specimens were found in a decaying red maple log, in polypore fungi on a red spruce log, in polypore fungi on white birch and balsam fir, in decaying gill fungi, in Lycoperdon sp. fungi, in a decaying red spruce, and in an “orange ball mushroom.” In Newfoundland, it was found associated with decaying red pine. : Published as part of Majka, Christopher & Langor, David, 2008, The Leiodidae (Coleoptera) of Atlantic Canada: new records, faunal composition, and zoogeography, pp. 357-402 in ZooKeys 2 (2) on page 386, DOI: 10.3897/zookeys.2.56, http://zenodo.org/record/576397 : {"references": ["Brown WJ (1937 a) Descriptions of some genera and species of Leiodidae.
