Haliplus (s. str.) immaculicollis Harris, 1828 Haliplus immaculicollis is probably the commonest and most widespread haliplid in Atlantic Canada and is found throughout the region (Fig. 1 & 5). It was recorded from New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island by Roughley (1991). It is widespread on Cape Breton Island and is found on Sable Island (Wright 1985).
