Gyrinus impressicollis Kirby, 1837 Gyrinus impressicollis was reported from Nova Scotia by Campbell et al. (1987). In Nova Scotia it has only been found on Cape Breton Island (Fig. 10). Morrissette (1979) reported it from fluvial lakes.
