Remarks : This is one of the most common species of Scina in Antarctic waters, ranging from the Antarctic Convergence to the Antarctic Continent. Most records are from depths of 1000–2000 m to the surface. The above records provide range extensions for the Antarctic Zone of the Southwest Atlantic (mainly) and the Pacific and Eastern Indian Ocean Sectors.
