description 31. Dryinus saussurei (Ceballos, 1936) (Figs 140 B–D) Lestodryinus saussurei Ceballos 1936: 48; Rey del Castillo & Izquierdo 1989: 254. Dryinus saussurei (Ceballos): Benoit 1954: 412; Olmi 1984: 770; 1994c: 10; 2006: 43; Azevedo et al . 2010: 891; Olmi et al . 2016: 76. Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 4.0– 5.9 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus yellow; rarely clypeus black or brown; occasionally anterior region of frons testaceous; occasionally malar space with testaceous spot (in specimen from Botswana, Serowe); antenna testaceous; occasionally antennomeres 7–8, or 3–10, or 3–8 brown; propleuron black; pronotum black, with lateral regions and posterior collar reddish; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma black-brown; legs testaceous, except coxae and clubs of femora partly brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:5:21:10:9:8:6:6:4.5:8. Head (Fig. 140B) shiny or dull, completely or partly granulate, occasionally partly unsculptured; occasionally head partly granulate and partly sculptured by a few irregular keels; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; lateral ocelli usually touching occipital carina, occasionally very close, but not touching occipital carina; OL = POL. In specimen from Madagascar, 17°45'S47°59'E, POL = 4; OL = 2. Pronotum dull, partly or completely granulate, with numerous slight striae around disc; occasionally pronotum shiny, almost completely unsculptured; posterior collar of pronotum short, about 0.5 × as long as distance from tegula to pronotal tubercle; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, slightly or strongly granulate, with short keels or areolae near posterior margin; occasionally median region of mesoscutum shiny, unsculptured (in specimen from Cameroon, Nkoemvon, mesoscutum completely granulate, with no areolae or keels; in specimen from South Africa posterior half of mesoscutum completely reticulate rugose; in specimen from Botswana, Serowe, mesoscutum almost completely reticulate rugose; in specimen from Cameroon, Messabengondo, mesoscutum completely granulate and rugose). Notauli incomplete, approximately reaching 0.65–0.90 × length of mesoscutum (rarely 0.5 × length of mesoscutum; rarely notauli complete and posteriorly separated). Mesoscutellum dull, granulate, or shiny and unsculptured. Metanotum dull, rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels. Forewing with three brown transverse bands (two proximal bands almost joint, occasionally completely joint); distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein about twice as long as proximal part (18:8). Hind wing hyaline, without dark spots; occasionally (in very large specimens) with one dark spot. Protarsomere 1 approximately as long as 4; in specimens from Madagascar, 19°07.56'S44°48.53'E and 18°01.35'S44°03.02'E, protarsomere 1 longer than 4; protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw (Fig. 140D) with one big subdistal tooth and one row of 9–13 lamellae (in specimen from Madagascar, 18°01.35'S44°03.02'E, subapical tooth distinctly divided into two teeth (Fig. 140C), so that apparently this specimen has to be included in group 3 of Dryinus ). Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 140D) with two rows of 16–39 lamellae; apex with 11–16 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. ♂. Fully winged; body length 2.6–2.8 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except coxae, club of metafemur and metatibia brown. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:7:17:12:13:13:11:10:10:11. Head dull, granulate; frons flat in front of anterior ocellus and humped between antennal toruli; frontal line incomplete; occipital carina incomplete; POL = 9; OL = 3; OOL = 3; lateral ocelli touching occipital carina; temple absent. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.65 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum almost completely dull, granulate, with narrow posterior region smooth and shiny. Metanotum with anterior half rugose and posterior half shiny and smooth. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein slightly longer than proximal part (14:13); 2R1 cell open. Paramere without dorsal process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. Dryinus saussurei (Ceballos, 1936) (Figs 140 B–D) Lestodryinus saussurei Ceballos 1936: 48; Rey del Castillo & Izquierdo 1989: 254. Dryinus saussurei (Ceballos): Benoit 1954: 412; Olmi 1984: 770; 1994c: 10; 2006: 43; Azevedo et al . 2010: 891; Olmi et al . 2016: 76. Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 4.0– 5.9 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus yellow; rarely clypeus black or brown; occasionally anterior region of frons testaceous; occasionally malar space with testaceous spot (in specimen from Botswana, Serowe); antenna testaceous; occasionally antennomeres 7–8, or 3–10, or 3–8 brown; propleuron black; pronotum black, with lateral regions and posterior collar reddish; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma black-brown; legs testaceous, except coxae and clubs of femora partly brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:5:21:10:9:8:6:6:4.5:8. Head (Fig. 140B) shiny or dull, completely or partly granulate, occasionally partly unsculptured; occasionally head partly granulate and partly sculptured by a few irregular keels; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; lateral ocelli usually touching occipital carina, occasionally very close, but not touching occipital carina; OL = POL. In specimen from Madagascar, 17°45'S47°59'E, POL = 4; OL = 2. Pronotum dull, partly or completely granulate, with numerous slight striae around disc; occasionally pronotum shiny, almost completely unsculptured; posterior collar of pronotum short, about 0.5 × as long as distance from tegula to pronotal tubercle; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, slightly or strongly granulate, with short keels or areolae near posterior margin; occasionally median region of mesoscutum shiny, unsculptured (in specimen from Cameroon, Nkoemvon, mesoscutum completely granulate, with no areolae or keels; in specimen from South Africa posterior half of mesoscutum completely reticulate rugose; in specimen from Botswana, Serowe, mesoscutum almost completely reticulate rugose; in specimen from Cameroon, Messabengondo, mesoscutum completely granulate and rugose). Notauli incomplete, approximately reaching 0.65–0.90 × length of mesoscutum (rarely 0.5 × length of mesoscutum; rarely notauli complete and posteriorly separated). Mesoscutellum dull, granulate, or shiny and unsculptured. Metanotum dull, rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels. Forewing with three brown transverse bands (two proximal bands almost joint, occasionally completely joint); distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein about twice as long as proximal part (18:8). Hind wing hyaline, without dark spots; occasionally (in very large specimens) with one dark spot. Protarsomere 1 approximately as long as 4; in specimens from Madagascar, 19°07.56'S44°48.53'E and 18°01.35'S44°03.02'E, protarsomere 1 longer than 4; protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw (Fig. 140D) with one big subdistal tooth and one row of 9–13 lamellae (in specimen from Madagascar, 18°01.35'S44°03.02'E, subapical tooth distinctly divided into two teeth (Fig. 140C), so that apparently this specimen has to be included in group 3 of Dryinus ). Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 140D) with two rows of 16–39 lamellae; apex with 11–16 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. ♂. Fully winged; body length 2.6–2.8 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except coxae, club of metafemur and metatibia brown. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:7:17:12:13:13:11:10:10:11. Head dull, granulate; frons flat in front of anterior ocellus and humped between antennal toruli; frontal line incomplete; occipital carina incomplete; POL = 9; OL = 3; OOL = 3; lateral ocelli touching occipital carina; temple absent. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.65 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum almost completely dull, granulate, with narrow posterior region smooth and shiny. Metanotum with anterior half rugose and posterior half shiny and smooth. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein slightly longer than proximal part (14:13); 2R1 cell open. Paramere without dorsal process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
