The first occurrence of Natterer's bat Myotis nattereri in Macedonia is reported, and new distributional records are presented for whiskered bat Myotis mystacinus, Nathusius's pipistrelle Pipistrellus nathusii, Kuhl's pipistrelle P kuhlii, Savi's pipistrelle P savii, and European freetailed bat Tadarida teniotis. A review of all available records of P kuhlii in Macedonia and adjacent regions does not permit any conclusion to be made with regard to the recent range expansion of the species in this part of the Balkans. ...
