Two visits, both of which were focused mainly on bird localities, took place in spring 1991 and 1992, respectively. Seven species (Rhinolophus hipposideros, Rh. ferrumequinum, Myotis blythi, M. nattereri, M. capaccinii, Nyctalus noctula, Miniopterus schreibersi) were found. M. nattereri is a new species for Albania. The most important find was the largest colony of M. capaccinii ever found in the cave at Mikro Prespa lake, about 10 000 females. ... |
