Based on new records of reproductive females and nonvolant juveniles from central Italy, we reassess the breeding ranges of these species in the Italian Peninsula and shift their boundaries southward over 350 and 310 km, respectively, for P. nathusii and N. leisleri. To our best knowledge, the observations of reproductive P. nathusii we report are the southernmost recorded for Europe.
