Summary:Genus Odhneripisidium Kuiper, 1962 Type species: Pisidium stewarti Preston, 1909. Diagnosis. The shell is small (up to 3 mm in length), oval, rounded, or triangular. The beaks are rounded and slightly or not prominent, and somewhat offset to the posterior edge of the valves. Only one (exhalant) siphon is present. The outer demibranch is completely reduced. Reproductive biology: This genus is characterized as a synchronous brooder (embryos are developing within a distinct brood sac).
