First record from the Altai Republic and Altai as a whole. The nearest localities of the species in Eastern Siberia are the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tuva and the Irkutsk Province. Ecology. A. carinata, like all species of the genus Acalypta Westwood 1840, lives on mosses, on which it was collected in the vicinity of Lake Teletskoye. The species was found in forest glades together with Ceratocombus coleoptratus (Zetterstedt, 1819) (Ceratocombidae Fieber, 1860) on mosses growing in moist soil. ... : Published as part of Golub, Viktor B., Vinokurov, Nikolay N., Golub, Natalia V., Soboleva, Viktoria A. & Aksenenko, Evgeniy V., 2021, True bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) from the taiga zone of the mountainous Altai of Russia: the first records and new data on rare species, pp. 164-175 in Ecologica Montenegrina 40 on pages 169-170, DOI: 10.37828/em.2021.40.14, http://zenodo.org/record/13233172 ...
