Pterotopteryx spilodesma (Meyrick, 1908) Figs 1, 2 Orneodes spilodesma Meyrick, 1908: 508. Type locality: Assam, India. Orneodes ochracea Marumo, 1923: 197. Type locality: Japan. Orneodes isshikii Matsumura, 1931: No. 2086. Type locality: Japan. Material examined. Russia: Sakhalin Island, vicinity of Kholmsk, 47.028 N, 142.037 E, at light trap, 25.IX 2017, 1 ♀, leg. О.L. Titova Distribution. India (Assam), Philippines, China (Taiwan), Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tanegashima, Yakushima); Russia (Southern Primorye, Southern Sakhalin, Shikotan Island). Remarks. The caterpillars live on the Lonicera L. (Caprifoliaceae), there are at least five species of them on Sakhalin (Voroshilov, 1982); in Japan they feed on L. japonica Thunb. (Inoue, 1982).
