This article reflects the results of the work on the primary introduction of popular medicinal types of mint in Central Yakutia. Such valuable species as M. x piperita L. – peppermint, M. spicata L. - garden mint (sprickly, curly), M. longifolia (L.) were attracted. Huds. - forest mint (long-leaved), M. pulegium L. - flea mint. Of these, some species showed quite good winter resistance Central Yakutia: M. spicata and M. longifolia persist for 5-6 years, did not freeze even in the cold winter of 2020-2021. Winter resistance is lower in peppermint, and especially in marsh mint, which freezes almost annually. A more stable rhythm of seasonal development was established in M. spicata, M. longifolia.
